Which Webkinz are really retired?

If you've been on ebay, you have probably seen auctions that
say lots of different Webkinz are retired.

The truth is, that some may be hard to find, but the only ones that are officially retired as of July 2007 are these:

Cheeky Dog
Cheeky Cat
Unicorn
Grey and White Cat
and newly retired:
                             Horse
                              Bassett Hound
                              Gold and White Cat

                             Pegasus
                             St. Bernard


 
Two other Webkinz are called "Seasonal" which means that they were only available at certain times of year, but may become available again. Those two are:

Love Puppy
Sherbert Bunny
Ganz is making a new "Love Frog" for Valentines Day 2008, so I don't know if they will make the Love Puppy again or not, but it is not officially retired.


Which Webkinz are Going to Retire Next?


Wait a minute, I have to dust off my crystal ball--Oh, no, it's in the shop. OK, I don't know for sure which Webkinz are going to retire next, but I do have a hot tip that YOU are responsible for relying on or not relying on.

I wrote this before the Horse, Orange and White Cat and Bassett Hound retired recently:

A GANZ Rep that I talked to a little while ago told me that there were five Webkinz that they were not taking orders for, and after I was told that, two of them were retired (that's right--the Unicorn and the Grey and White Cat).

The other Webkinz I was told that about were:

Orange and White Cat
Pegasus
Horse

Will those Webkinz be retired? I don't know. As I wrote earlier they are not officially retired, and GANZ may choose to continue to make them--or the information could be totally wrong, but it was right about the Unicorn and the Grey and White Cat. (Wow--those did retire since I wrote that).
